80 million people are being forced to flee their homes, about 820 million people globally do not have enough to eat and our environment is continuously being polluted by emissions of human activity. A huge fact of the environmental damage we cause is textile waste. In 2015, 79 billion cubics of water were used by the textile and clothing industry. In total about 2700 litres of water is needed to produce one single t-shirt, that’s enough drinking water for one person for 2,5 years. Annually about 92 million tonnes of textile waste is created and one-third of the food produced in the world for human consumption – approximately 1.3 billion tonnes – gets lost or wasted.
Our mission: “Your abundance is not measured by what you have, it is created by what you share.“
We are all about connecting people. Connecting the ones who are privileged enough to give and those who are in need. We strive to create a social recycling structure in which people care about and help each other by providing to the less fortunate. At the end we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
